VISCOGLIOSI BROTHERS ACTS AS A STRATEGIC ADVISOR TO OLYMPUS CORPORATION ON OP-1 BONE ACQUISITION FROM STRYKER CORPORATION

New York, NY: December 8, 2010 – Viscogliosi Bros., LLC (VB), a merchant banking and venture capital/private equity firm focused exclusively on the musculoskeletal /orthopedics sector, today reported it acted as strategic advisor to Olympus Corporation for its $60 million purchase of Stryker Corporation’s OP-1 bone product family, which includes OP-1 Implant, OP-1 Putty, Opgenra and Osigraft.
